The amount was RMB251.63 million, down 33.0% year-on-year. From January to March, China imported 6.023 million liters of beer, down 44.1% year on year; The amount was Rmb620.9 million, down 39.5 per cent year-on-year.
In March, China exported 61.82 million liters of beer, up 32.5 percent year on year. The amount was RMB301.15 million, up 35.9% year on year.
From January to March, China exported 161.95 million liters of beer, up 24.3% year on year; The amount was RMB777.27 million, up 24.6% year-on-year
In 2023, the volume of beer imports was about 418,300 million liters, a decrease of 13.2%. Beer exports increased by nearly 30% to 621,000 liters.
From January to December 2023, the volume of beer imports was 41.83 million liters, down 13.2% from the same period last year; The amount was 4.058 billion yuan, down 6.6 percent year-on-year. Among them, the number of beer imports in December was 20,100 million liters, a decrease of 53.2%. The amount was 212 million yuan, down 48.9 percent year-on-year.
While the import volume of beer decreased significantly, the export volume increased significantly. From January to December 2023, beer exports reached 621,000 million liters, an increase of 29.5%; The amount was 3.185 billion yuan, up 45.7 percent year-on-year. In December, the export volume of beer was 5.4 million liters, an increase of 19.9%. The amount was 295 million yuan, up 41.4 percent year-on-year.
In March 2024, China imported 1.72 million tons of barley, up 135.4% year on year; The value was Rmb3.385.81 billion, up 75.9% year-on-year.
From January to March 2024, China imported 4.43 million tons of barley, up 162.2% year on year; The amount amounted to 8.80971 billion yuan, an increase of 89.5% year-on-year.
